Madison Square Garden or MSG is a multipurpose building located in Pennsylvania Plaza, Manhattan, New York City. The Garden, the nickname of this building, used for basketball, professional ice hockey, boxing, music concerts, ice shows, circuses and others. The building is located within walking distance of other attractions in Manhattan, such as the Empire State Building, Koreatown and Macy’s in Herald Square.

Madison Square Garden was opened to the public on February 11, 1968.
