Built in 1971, Walt Disney World has already become a landmark for the city of Orlando. This tourist destination is the second theme park built by Walt Disney after Disneyland that are in Anaheim, California. At its inception, the Magic Kingdom is the only zone that is in the region. Even the Magic Kingdom is actually used as the official name of the theme park before the local residents knew it by the name of Walt Disney World.

Walt Disney World can be reached from downtown Orlando for 30 minutes. The location occupies an area of over 12,000 hectares in the heart of Lake Buena Vista. Currently in Walt Disney World there are already more than 10 zones that can be visited by visitors (4 of which are the main zone). Interestingly, all the technical equipment and the operational activities carried out in the halls are connected to one another in the basement so that visitors will rarely see Disney World staff passersby to perform maintenance or operation of existing zones.

Each zone is divided into several areas that have a different theme and each area is inhabited by some of the rides. Often in every rideĀ also held various kinds of performances. Of course, every vehicle that is presenting entertainment experiences and different for visitors. Magic Kingdom became one of the zones that until today are often packed with visitors. Most are children, although adults can also enjoy it. During this time no less than 17,000 visitors per year have enjoyed a variety of exciting experiences on the location.

In another zone that is equally interesting in the Walt Disney World is a futuristic and technological zone called the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, or EPCOT. A zone which was inaugurated in 1982, it features 2 main areas, namely the World Showcase and Future World. Some rides can be enjoyed in such areas is Innoventions, Seas with Nemo and Friends, Mission Space, Universe of Energy and many more.

Walt Disney World visitors can also enjoy the presence of various types of animals in some areas that the landscape is similar to their natural habitat. There are 1700 animals of 250 species that can be seen in areas of Asia and Africa. In addition, visitors also can ride a roller coaster rides that are in the Expedition Everest and get to know the lives of pre-history in the Dinoland USA ride.

Other zones also exist in Walt Disney World is Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Visitors can play on the playground rides called Honey I Shrunk the Kids, watching a 3D movie in Jim Henson’s Muppet Vision 3-D. Moreover, those who are in the zone of Disney Hollywood Studios also can enjoy a diverse menu of food presented at the 50’s Prime Time Cafe or Hollywood and Vine.
