Have you ever heard of a village / town in the clouds? Well, definitely cool, huh? If there is a tourist spot like that. But indeed there is a village that is located very high up into the clouds. The village was named Machu Picchu or often referred to as “The Lost Incan City”. The Machu Picchu village is a village located in the Urubamba valley, a mountain that is the height of 2,350 meters above sea level in Peru, South America.

History of Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu is a village that has become a UNESCO world heritage site since 1983. Its existence is very valuable because it is an important history ofthe civilization Inca Empire located in Latin America. The village of Machu Picchu was built around 1450 by the Inca Empire, using the style of ancient Incan architecture, in which a wall of polished stones decorates all existing buildings in the small village measuring 500 x 200 meters. But the Incas were a native tribe of Machu Picchu had to give up their land to the Spaniards who conquered kingdoms 100 years later. The streets that must be taken to get to Machu Picchu is very difficult, steep road and the zig-zag should you go through to get to the top of the mountain. But do not worry guys.. Because Peru is already modern, so you just need to ride the tour bus to get to this village.Fun, yes!

Along the way, you will see an amazing sight. Towards Machu Picchu

To get to Machu Picchu, you can through the station Inca Trail. This station is the only way to get to Machu Picchu. From the Inca Trail, you then can go down in Aguas Calientes. Then from Agus Calientes you just need to ride the tour bus to the top of Machu Picchu.
