Hydra Island in the Saronic Gulf, Greece, is a perfect place for a traveler to swim. The sea is really clear blue. This area also has an all-white and elegant panorama. This is the beauty in the Greek country. In addition to the Acropolis in Athens, Greece has many other tourist destinations that are no less interesting. Among other things are beautiful islands located in the Saronic Gulf. One of the beautiful islands in the bay is Hydra Island, which is in the south of Athens.

Hydra Island is a rocky island because there are not too many trees we can meet. However, that does not mean this island is barren. The houses on this island are dominated by white, just like my image of islands in Greece. In most places, there are still white stones, including roads, stairs, and white buildings. Some houses have plain white walls, some are made of rocks.

The windows are still in the form of wooden windows, most of which are also white, although there are also other colors. These houses are located in alleys so that the distance between the house and the other side is quite close. Similar to houses in the old town of Plaka in Athens, but here the alley is smaller. Very unique!

At one end of the Hydra island, there is a lighthouse. If you go there, you can see the boats, almost all of them are white as well that lean against the side of the pier. In addition, we also pass cafes that serve various kinds of food. There are many tourists swimming by the sea. If you see the water is very clear, it will definitely be tempting to enter the water. Especially with hot weather. Swimming on this island is certainly different from swimming at the beach in general. What is clear, you will immediately plunge into the water.
