United States can not be separated from a national icon that became a symbol of freedom in that country is the Statue of Liberty. This statue is very well known all over the world. In this context, the United States succeeded in popularizing icon of the country. Statue of Liberty, which serve as a lightening of the world, or in French was called by La Liberte eclairant le monde, a neo-classical statue which is located in New York Harbor, Manhattan, USA.

Interesting that the statue of liberty was designed not by Americans, but by Frederic Auguste Bartholdi. Bartholdi is a French citizen. In 2012, the Statue of Liberty was closed again to be improved despite the small island where the statue is still open to tourists. Unfortunately, the opening of the island lasted only a single day because of violent storms in which the Americans call with Hurricane Sandy. Of course, very dangerous to be on the small island when a terrifying storm that destroyed everything in its path.

This statue is located on a small island not how far from the center of New York, in the south of Ellis Island is also famous among tourists. The tourists who want to visit the statue is not charged except for those who want to climb to the crown of the statue. Tourists are only required to pay the cost of transportation by ferry which specifically serve the transportation to the island where the statue is located. Circle Line is a company which previously granted the authority to serve the activities of tourists who want to visit this statue. But in 2007, other private companies replace the Circle Line. Statue Cruises is a ferry service to the Statue of Liberty, which replaces the Circle Line.

Do not be surprised if safety standards are so high. Every tourist examined very closely, such as checking the immigration officer at the airport. Every day, visitors are allowed to enter up to the crown only a maximum of 240 people.
