Lord Howe Island, The Outstanding Natural Beauty!

Lord Howe Island is a tourist location that has many beautiful natural attractions and is the remains of a volcano with an irregular pattern. It could even be seen forming a crater shaped like a crescent moon in the Tasman Sea between Australia and New Zealand. Located 600 kilometers, which is equivalent to 370 miles from the east Port Macquarie, and is approximately 900 kilometers from Norfolk Island.

The island has a length of about 10 km with an area of 14.55 square kilometers, only 398 hectares of lowland and other areas were drowned when the tide. Along the coast there is a sandy area protected by a coral reef lagoon, is home to animals shellfish. Most of the population lives in the north, while the southern area is dominated by wooded hills.

The Lord Howe Island is a collection of the group that consists of 28 islands with many uninhabited, such as Ball island which lies 23 km to the southeast, while in the north there are the Admiralty Group, a group of small uninhabited islands.

A collection of beautiful islands is arguably a beautiful paradise and became an exotic location that is listed as a World Heritage off the north coast of New South Wales and can be reached by flights of less than two hours drive from Brisbane or Sydney. Probably not many people who visit this beautiful region because of the travel costs are quite expensive but it was incredible. You will be stared at the beauty of this natural beach. And you do not have to hurry to get home if it had arrived at the location, you can relax while enjoying the scenery there or choose to explore the plains along the 10 km’s by bike or on foot.

Of course the real reason why Lord Howe Island could be listed in the World Heritage is because of outstanding natural beauty, exceptional geology and rare collection of birds, plants and marine life. Lord Howe Island is surrounded by coral reefs that exist only in the south and a rare species of coral reefs in the world. The water is clean and has a natural underwater park called the Lord Howe Island Marine Park. One of the largest in New South Wales. In addition, visitors can also enjoy scuba diving, snorkeling, surfing, kayaking and fishing. There are various styles of accommodation, luxurious spa treatments, a beautiful hotel and a great restaurant make this island into the perfect vacation spot.
